I think this movie makes more sense if you just assume it's a Christmas-themed remake of Monster-A-Go-Go, and the woman at the end is insane.And "FUCK, SHIT, FUCK!" is an awesome catch phrase.

did anyone ever say lets birighten it to were we can see? im guessing they made it all dark because of the CHEAP ASS WALLPAPER they used in this movie.... also HES A ZOMBIE!!!! AND MY PROTECTIVE SHEILD DIDNT WORK

Needlessly Complex Murder Plot

She may have committed those other murders to throw suspicion off of her when she finally did kill her boyfriend.
The DC Sniper did that so no one would suspect him when he murdered his ex-wife. It didn't work for him either, though.
